AltusHost had plans to expand to Switzerland for a while now. Finally, we’ve fully completed our expansion to CH in 2nd half of 2019.
Why Switzerland?
Switzerland is well known for quality and overall safe environment. This is something that we as a company stand for as well. Beside that we wanted to help our clients who serve local business in CH, to serve them even better, with true presence in Switzerland.
Where in Switzerland?
We are present in Zurich. We’ve picked Equinix Switzerland as Data Center partner in Switzerland.
Why Equinix?
Even they are one of the most expensive data centers, they have a very broad amount of network carriers present in data centers. Also, they hold a wide amount of ISO certifications, that’s the main reason why we picked them.
We now have a direct connection to local and international carriers, plus direct access to SwissIX and Equinix IX, this ensures that our clients in Switzerland are well connected to Swiss and outside Swiss Networks.
What about the price?
Yes, Switzerland is a bit more expensive than the rest of Europe. That’s Switzerland…
But we’ve managed to offer to our clients same or very similar prices like in our other locations in Netherlands, Bulgaria, and Sweden.
Our plan is to offer unified prices around Europe. Most of the time we do manage to offer this.
